💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Be prepared for a long train ride, as the park is described as 'insanely huge'.
  • Manage expectations regarding the condition of exhibits, as 'some wear and tear' and 'a little rundown' are noted.
  • Consider Storyland as an excellent option for a birthday party, especially for children around 6 years old, as parties can include access to rides afterwards.
  • If you're looking for an activity that will engage kids for a very long time, you might consider combining it with a visit to the nearby amusement park (as suggested by the interconnected gate).

Things to Consider

  • Some exhibits show 'some wear and tear' and the venue is described by one reviewer as 'a little rundown'.
  • One reviewer felt there's 'not enough to do to keep kids engaged for a long time'.
  • The $6 entry fee was considered not worth it by one reviewer due to the perceived limited engagement and rundown state.

Price & Value

Entry fee is $6 per person. One reviewer found this price not justified due to the 'rundown' state and limited long-term engagement, suggesting it would only be worth it if free. The price is upfront, with no hidden costs mentioned beyond snacks.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • No specific accessibility accommodations mentioned beyond a general 'walk through' experience and a train ride. Restrooms are onsite.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • The lobby has 'some snacks and drinks for sale'. No information regarding outside food policy was provided in the reviews.

🛡️Safety Features

  • Kids loved the 'kid-friendly rollercoaster', implying safety considerations for young riders. No other explicit safety features were mentioned in the reviews.

When to Avoid

  • If you prioritize perfectly maintained, brand-new facilities without any signs of wear and tear.
  • If you need an activity that will keep children, especially older ones, engaged for several hours without breaks, as some find it has 'not enough to do' for long periods.
  • If the $6 per person entry fee feels steep for a potentially short visit or if you are sensitive to visible 'wear and tear'.

What a magical walk through. All the story books coming to life is such a sweet childhood memory that I know my family will cherish for forever. The train ride was way longer than I expected. It went around the whole park, which is insanely huge

We had the best birthday party ever for my six-year-old granddaughter in the castle! She and all her friends had such a blast that day. Also after the party getting to run around and do all the rides was a plus! Would highly recommend for birthday party parties.

Storyland was a fun and charming experience for the whole family. The kids especially loved the rollercoaster—it was the perfect mix of exciting and kid-friendly. We also had a great time exploring the various storybook-themed installments. A great spot for younger kids to play, imagine, and burn off some energy!

After paying to visit the nearby amusement park, there was a gate that led to Storyland. It's normally $6 per person. The concept is fun with many different children book-themed areas like a climbing structure leading to a giant slide that's Jack and the Beanstalk. Funny mirrors are part of the Alice in Wonderland section. Despite a fun theme, it's a little rundown and there's not enough to do to keep kids engaged for a long time. If it was free, it's fine, but not for $6. There are restrooms so that's a plus.
