Swamp Explorers

Fun experience! Friend came down from Chicago and we rented 1 canoe. 6 gators, 1 hog, 2 snakes and serenity! Customer Service was 👍 great.

Just spent the morning here. Great experience and very accommodating. Saw a gator, an egret and a blue heron. Highly recommend, especially if you are interested in a less populated area!

My husband and I really enjoyed our kayaking trip. We were free to explore anywhere we wanted. We saw one gator and it was so fast! There were not too many boats in that area so we didn't have to worry about being tipped over by waves. I suggest doing the morning kayak. The sun was so hot in the afternoon and there was not enough clouds.

You will see alligators. And lots. I took my friend from out of town for a trip to the bayou. Service was good and the employees were very helpful. The bayou you kayak down is super serene and full of wildlife. We saw countless beautiful birds, tons of alligators, and heard some hogs. It’s such a peaceful kayaking trip and you’ll even like the drive down here. It’s really affordable and a great way to spend the afternoon. Tip for navigating the water ways: use the satellite mode on google maps. The normal mode shows old bayous, some of which are currently inaccessible. To the owner- this is exactly what I wanted out of my day so thank you!!

Fran was super nice and helpful. She showed us the map and it was easy to follow. The trip was easy, serene, beautiful, and exactly what we were looking for. We did see a good amount of alligators but they didn’t bother us. 10/10 highly recommend if you want to see the swamp up close and get a workout at the same time!
