2 years agoOur 9 and 11 year olds first summer away at camp was a huge success! They had a whole lot of fun and both are excited to go back next year. As parents, we couldn’t have found a better place for our kids to have fun, learn independence, explore, and make lifetime friendships. Thank you to all the staff of SNC!!!

6 months agoMy child has been going here for years. They are an old fashioned true nature summer camp that values kindness, friendship, inclusivity and building confidence through teamwork. The counselors are very positive with the kids and she loves it so much here she says she wants to be a counselor in the summers one day. The directors are great and they have great camp registered nurses for peace of mind. An amazing place for wonderful childhood memories and a beautiful area in the Northwoods.

8 months agoI’ve gone here for the past 2 years, and will go back this year. This is an overall awesome experience I love all of the counselors and campers and, the owners (Jeff, and Lonnie) are awesome. The camp has great food, and service, nice cabins, and overall a very well put together camp. I continue to come here because who wouldn’t want to? This place is a safe place for so many people and a chance to bond and meet new people. If you’re looking to make new friends and bond with the counselors this is definitely a camp for you, or if you love to, Boat, Swim, build, play, etc. This is definitely the camp for you! Or if you are a buffet person every Sunday there is always a buffet that never disappoints! I for one have bonded with many of the staff and campers and overall this camp is such an amazing experience I HIGHLY Recommend this camp!

7 months agoA Life-Changing Experience at Swift Nature Camp! My two children recently attended Swift Nature Camp, and I couldn't be more thrilled with their experience. Jeff and Lonnie, the camp directors, have created an environment that fosters growth, learning, and a deep connection with nature. From everything my kids have shared with me since arriving back home, it was clear that this camp is something special. The staff at Swift Nature Camp are incredibly dedicated and caring, ensuring that each camper feels welcomed and supported - especially because they offer a unique First Time Camper program to support kids’ first time away from home. My kids particularly loved the wide range of activities, from fishing and archery to nature hikes and arts and crafts. They loved all the camp songs, jokes, and traditions. These activities not only kept them engaged but also helped them develop new skills and interests. What impressed me the most was the emphasis on their growth and independence. My children returned home with newfound confidence and a sense of accomplishment. They made so many friends and memories that they will cherish forever. Swift Nature Camp is not just a place for kids to have fun; it's a place where they learn important life lessons, build character, and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world. I highly recommend this camp to any parent looking for a transformative and enriching experience for their children. Thank you, Jeff and Lonnie, for providing such an exceptional camp experience. We can't wait to return!

9 months agoWe love this camp and are so grateful there’s still a traditional camp that my children can experience that’s just like the 90’s when I was a camper. Those were some of the best day of my life and now my children will have those same memories too. No cell phones, real food that’s not processed and healthy snacks, kids in nature, swimming in the lake, experiencing activities that keep them fit and active, campfires, sleeping under the stars etc. etc. I also feel completely at ease and have full trust that my children are well taken care of by all the staff. My kids can’t wait for summer to start so they can have another amazing year at SNC.
