3 years agoWhile the parking can be challenging, the biggest issue was actually finding an entrance to this place. We just entered from the roadside following a small path that was created by others. The first and the most interesting portion of this canyon is the tunnel covered in graffiti. It is pitch black inside, and the low ceiling makes it hard to walk but if you keep walking towards the light at the end of the tunnel you end up on the other side of the road. My other gripe is the lack of markings. It is easy to end up in someone's backyard. Also part of the canyon is just a path for water (i.e. big pebbles) which makes it hard to walk. Hearing the birds chirping everywhere is nice, even if we cannot observe them. Overall a nice little outing with a little art on the side.

7 years agoThis delightful little hidden canyon is a great escape from the city, despite being surrounded by it! I think it just needs some more love and care to really be awesome. The trails are not well marked and over grown, which did aid in it's wilderness feel.

4 years agoFun place for the kids and teens, good for adults, and good for photos. The park is clean and well kept up. No facilities, so take care of business before you go. 😁

3 years agoWe always love to come here and especially enjoy walking the trails after a visit to the dog park. The pic is a few months old. It's a bit dryer there now after the summer. Nevertheless. We have the best time with our pup and enjoy the little off shoots of the canyon.

a year agoWe had a hard time looking for the entrance. We asked some people in the street and they helped us find the entrance. The hike is okay. There are two options: Long and short route. The long route, you have to go through the tunnel. The short route, leads back to the street. Beware: There are 3 cayotes in the area. They don't attack humans, but they like small creatures. Like small puppy or toddlers.
