8 months agoIt was an amazing experience! The staff were great, friendly and helpful. Another best part was the depth of the water, most of the time it wasn’t deep more than few feet and only few times it’s deep more than 5-6 feet depending on how much rain it got in last few days. You can be a beginner or skilled on the water, this place is for you. It’s good for any age.

10 months agoThank you for a wonderful day out kayaking. This was our first time booking with Take it Outdoors Adventures and they are a great staff. Plus we were lucky enough to share the shuttle with repeat guests who also couldn't say enough nice comments about the staff and their trips. Thank you again!

10 months agoAbsolutely recommend. The staff was super friendly and pleasant to deal with, booking was easy, pricing is fair. The guy told us to be on the lookout for bald eagles and sure enough we saw two! We did the 8 mile route on a tandem kayak in about 2.5-3 hours. Returning equipment was easy. 100% we will be going again!

a year agoAbsolutely amazing experience! I saw on Facebook when Take It Outdoors opened and couldn’t wait to book a trip. I bought a gift card for my sister’s birthday and originally scheduled the 4 mile trip on a Saturday. Unfortunately, my sister had to work last minute, so I reached out to them via email. Noah responded promptly and was so nice! He rescheduled us for the next day, at the same time, for an 8 mile trip with no up charge!! I am SO grateful for this because the 8 mile trip was absolutely worth every ounce of sunburn and sore muscles. There were many amazing views, and quite a few awesome swim spots on the trip that we took advantage of fully (there’s two rope swing spots that are a must). It took us about 5 hours to complete our trip, but we truly took our time. It was an absolute blast and I will definitely be booking another trip next season! Thank you Take It Outdoors!

11 months agoHad such a fun Saturday kayaking with friends on the 8 miler. We can’t wait to come back and use their services again! The team was very friendly and instructive, making for smooth sailing. Great for beginners. We brought our own kayaks which they loaded/unloaded. Keep your eye out for bald eagles!
