a month agoThe Tennessee State Museum is an absolute must-visit for history lovers and curious minds alike. The museum is exceptionally well-maintained and clean, creating an inviting and immersive experience from start to finish. One of the standout features is the seamless flow between exhibits, the layout is modern and thoughtfully designed, allowing visitors to move smoothly from one topic to another without feeling disoriented. The architecture itself complements the storytelling, making for a visually and intellectually engaging visit. The educational value here is outstanding, offering deep insights into Tennessee’s history, culture, and heritage. Whether you're a local or a visitor, there’s something to learn and appreciate. The fact that admission is free is a huge bonus, but honestly, I wouldn’t mind paying for an experience of this quality, it’s well worth it. Highly recommended!

a week agoThis is a great Museum to go to for free. I spent 3 hours but you could spend all day if you wanted to read everything. There's so much information and a lot to look at but it's great to go to on a rainy day.

a week agoAn amazing resource of history and education! I was thoroughly impressed with this state of the art facility. I highly recommend visiting this museum if you're in the area....and it's right next to the farmers market!

3 months agoWe took a self-guided tour. It's very nice. I rate it a 5 out of 10 of the 46 capitols I have seen. Tennessee is VERY proud of President Andrew Jackson! He's everywhere!!!
