2 weeks agoIt was amazing. There are like 5 museums inside. You can be here all day. I am glad they kept the original architecture from the olden days. It was about 60 for parking with 2 adults and 3 small kids. We are making our plans to visit again. There are many places for families to sit and play with their children.

a month agoWe are so glad we made the trip from Sunbury, Ohio to check this place out. What an incredible space for our 5 year old to run around and get immersed in everything the museum had to offer. Having the ability to go from the childrens museum to the main history museum was excellent. Our son was able to explore a cave, see a tornado, look at HUUUGE dinosaur fossils, get some astronaut ice cream, and fully interact with a Kroger store! The staff was friendly and overall this trip will be a core memory for our family.

a month agoThis was the perfect place for our young kiddos! It is a contained space with only one way in or out. It is divided into many different "zones" such as construction, grocery store, dentist office, water play, etc. Our kids ran from zone to zone! Our kids ranged in age from 4 to 12, and they all were able to find something they enjoyed. We got there late so we only had an hour and a half before it closed, but honestly that was almost the perfect amount of time before everyone became overstimulated and melted down. Of we ever travel to Cincy again, we will definitely go there!

a month agoThe Museum is wonderful. There is something for everyone! This was a "multi generational" visit. Gen X Millennials Gen Alphas We were there for about three hours. We visited the Dinosaurs, walked through the underground cave, watched the Cincinnati Innovation video, visited the Julia Child Exhibit, Several "hands on" areas, everything from dental health to crawling through tunnels. We did not get to explore even a third of the museum. It is well run, museum staff are everywhere, approaching us with information on the exhibits. Very clean - inside and out! You can bring in your own snacks and lunch. It took us about 10 minutes to find a table-so be prepared to be patient. If you prefer, you can purchase food at the museum. I had a hotdog and a big soft pretzel. Both very good. I would go back just to get another pretzel! My hotdog, pretzel and water were just under 18.00. They also offer healthy options such as salads and protein boxes as well as fruit. All-in-All Great Experience and I look forward to my next visit!

a month agoThis weekend, I took my two kids on an epic adventure, and it was nothing short of magical! We started at the Indoor Tree Playland, where they ran, climbed, and explored like little explorers on a jungle quest. The towering tree structures, hidden tunnels, and rope bridges had them giggling non-stop as they raced to the top. I even found myself squeezing through a few tight spots (turns out, I’m not as nimble as they are!). Just when I thought they might be ready for a break, we stepped into the Dinosaur Exhibit, and their excitement went prehistoric! Life-sized dinosaurs loomed over us, roaring and moving just enough to make it feel like we had traveled back in time. My youngest was convinced one of the raptors blinked at her, and I’m still not sure if she was right or just deep in her imagination. We were tug of warring each other, entering tornados, pulling ourselves up on the pullies By the end of the day, we were exhausted but buzzing with excitement. The mix of climbing, adventure, and dinosaur discoveries made it a day to remember. Definitely one of the best outings we've had in a while—can't wait to do it again!
