What parents say
"Absolutely beautiful and highly walkable. This is a must see when you are in Dallas. In the springtime there are specific weeks when tulips are in bloom, then azaleas, then rhododendrons, then roses... It's a magical place. One of the best layouts of any botanical garden I've been to, and I live in New York, so I regularly visit outstanding Gardens such as Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Old Westbury Gardens, Planting Fields Arboretum and Bayard Cutting Arboretum are the standard fare for me, and that's a very high standard. Dallas should be very proud of this testament to beautiful gardens."

"Spending the day at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens with my girlfriend was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, we were surrounded by vibrant blooms, peaceful walkways, and a calmness that made us feel like we were in our own little world. We explored the gardens together, stopping often to admire the colors and take photos. The tulip displays were stunning, and the views of White Rock Lake added a serene backdrop to our stroll. It felt like time slowed down — just the two of us enjoying nature, laughing, and talking without any distractions. Watching her smile "

"The grounds were stunning for spring. I was able to walk the entire grounds minus the children's area in under 2 hours. I suggest stopping and learning about the DeGolyer house. It's breathtaking. Bring your camera. Wear comfortable walking shoes. They serve mimosas so you can feel sophisticated as you stroll the gardens. I hate to mention this as a negative but good grief the amount of professional photographers was too much. I get it. But maybe they should be allowed in early and asked to finish up early. It got very annoying to wait because I didn't want be in their photos. But it was EVERY"
