"TL;DR: The place is empty and WAY TOO LOUD music. Stuck n 80's as far as the eye can see & not in the good way. Better options across the bay. The GOOD: Friendly staff and the ac works great. Large skating rink. Low purple wall you can access to help a novice. A mix of modern pop music. Clean. Lockers available. The BAD: Music is WAY too LOUD and fluctuates from time to time which makes it more jarring when it gets way too loud again. I noted really good skaters with BIG headphones on. This place is stuck with the 80's and has never been updated. Not a thing replaced so it's very dingy. The "

"Golden Skate is a gem! A wonderful atmosphere for new and advanced skaters. I highly recommend visiting solo or with your family. Golden Skate has good music, and a variety of drinks/snacks. I wouldn't change much other than the facility having a monthly membership for those of us who like to skate frequently :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"1st Friday tonight DJ left mid session I don’t think I’ll be doing a 1st Friday again but Wednesday are most definitely better but the DJ Taz always plays the slow set the last 10 min which is a little odd. I also wish he would play a little more up to date music because he plays everything from the 2000s and before. But I am grateful that they are given us an extra 30 minutes on Wednesdays and not charging us."
