2 months agoI recently completed the high school athletic development program at the greater Pittsburgh sports complex and I'm thoroughly impressed with the results. From start to finish, Derek Clark was exceptional. He is not only knowledgeable but also deeply invested in helping each individual reach their goals. I saw noticeable improvements in both my strength and speed within just a few weeks of joining. The facilities are top-notch-beautiful, clean, and well-equipped, creating an ideal environment for training. What stood out even more was the use of technology throughout the program. The integration of advanced tracking for speed helped me monitor my progress and ensure I was training at the right intensity. Overall, this program has been a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their performance for the sport. The combination of great coaching, excellent facilities, and cutting-edge technology makes this program a standout in the field.

The people are super friendly and welcoming and the staff is attentive and open to suggestions and always looking for new programming ideas. Having access to a full gym is also a plus!

2 months agoThe Greater Pittsburgh Sportsplex in Coraopolis, PA, is an outstanding facility that fosters growth for pickleball and other sports enthusiasts. Its comprehensive programs include coaching in soccer, baseball, and basketball. I'm particularly impressed with lead pickleball trainer Ethan Dysert, an aspiring professional player competing at the pro level, and Director of Athletic Performance Derek Clark. Their insightful guidance has significantly enhanced my appreciation for the sport and overall fitness. Beyond the exceptional coaching staff, the Sportsplex boasts a vibrant community of members who actively support each other's growth and development. This collaborative environment encourages players to engage, learn, and improve together, making it an ideal place for both beginners and seasoned athletes. The sense of camaraderie and mutual encouragement truly sets this facility apart, fostering not only athletic excellence but also lasting friendships.

2 months agoI am very disappointed in the fitness center aspect of this sports complex. When I first toured the fitness center, I loved that they offered clean and brand new equipment, along with having a more private feel. After becoming a member, I soon came to realize that it was a waste of money, but unfortunately that was already after I had signed up for a year long membership, in order save an extra $20 a month. It’s extremely overpriced, which I was willing to pay for when I first believed it seemed like a good fit for me. If I wanted to bring a guest with me, it was $10 to do so, which in my opinion is greatly overpriced considering I was already paying $40 a month for the membership. The front desk staff member is very unfriendly and seems miserable all of the time. Having his negative presence there first thing when I walked in the door made me feel unwelcome in a place that I literally pay to go to. I had switched to this gym from planet fitness in hopes for better things, but I’ve just come to realize that the grass definitely isn’t always greener on the other side. I will definitely be going back to planet fitness. I’m bummed that supporting this small business didn’t turn out as great as my experience with every other small business in the area. Definitely don’t waste your time here for the fitness center.

2 months agoLove this facility! Started out only using it for pickleball, but now I bring the whole the family. The atmosphere/people are all very friendly and the staff is wonderful! My boys love the open turf time to play a variety of sports.
