a week agoA steady 45 minutes of incline hiking with a gorgeous view at the top! We did the hike shortly after landing in Utah and the altitude definitely got to us. Your calves will feel this one for sure too!! The top was pretty cool with all of the “living room furniture” made from rocks. The view was really, but unfortunately, our sunset hike was a little bit overcast. would recommend going on a really clear night for Sunset :)

2 months agoLots of trails so Mapping is recommended. Plenty of people on the trails. Went to Mt Wire via the living room. Came down along the Ridgeline. VERY steep that way. Had to side step some of it. Really great loop

6 months agoThe living room trail is slightly over a mile with nearly 1000 ft elevation. Most part of it is not shaded. Definitely bring some water with you. With such short hike, you get a overlook of SLC and the great salt lake at the end, not mentioning the fun living room furnitures-pick and choose where you want to sit down to enjoy the view!!

6 months agoA tough hike but the view of the city is amazing at the end. If you’re going later in the day be aware you’ll be in the sun most of the hike.

a month agoDifficult if you don’t normally hike, very muddy and icy during the time I went which wasn’t too fun. Amazing views at the top though which make it worth it. Parking sucks.
