The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College

The facility is clean and the animals are well taken care of. We attended the Wild Lights event last year and the Boo at the Zoo this year to support the work they are doing. We loved hearing all the back stories of the animals and interacting with them. It is a small and intimate zoo that's worth the trip.

Such a fun little zoo! The students working were all excited to talk to us about the animals, and it was awesome getting to see them train with the animals.

Good small zoo For small kids. Lions , tigers, and more! Love animal shows and the fact that you can I teract with kids. Lots of picnic area and bench for resting.

What a great resource for students wanting to learn how to be zookeepers, and a great place for a lovely outing and way for kids to learn more about exotic animals right in the Conejo Valley! The zoo rescues animals when they are confiscated at airports or from residential homes where they were wrongfully brought to begin with. Love that they offer a great birthday experience here, too!

I would call it a "pet zoo", cuz every animal here is being loved by the trainers and us, the best zoo I ever visited. I used to feel bad when I saw many animals restricted in zoos without freedom, but not here, it's a zoo showing "how much we love the animals and how amazing it could be when we love and interact with them". Now I feel they are my friends and I will go visit them regularly.
