Not for me. This was a disappointing experience. While there were certainly lots of bats there were also other animals that looked depressed and lethargic. There was no tour to explain anything about the animals and there was minimal info on the enclosures. The place smelled really bad, so much so that while we were there an employee lit candles (that were left on an unattended in various places). There was no fresh air and almost all windows were painted/covered in black...while that seems okay for bats the sloth, kangaroo/wallaby, chinchillas had no access to fresh air or sunlight. The kangaroo/wallaby laid in straw the whole time I was there and only lifted its head once. All the animals that were moving seemed to be clawing at the edges of their enclosures and crammed in with other animals. The entire place felt like it was thrown together quickly to fit in all the Halloween themed merchandise with the animals as an after thought. I'm sure that's not the case but it's how it felt with cleaning supplies, animal food, and even a litter box and cat tree cluttering the space. The cat tree and litter box was for the Savannah cat that is allowed to roam freely. Overall just not a pleasant experience. If you do go, be sure to purchase your tickets in advance..they seemed to be overwhelmed by the volume of customers (although it was empty when we arrived). If they need to charge more to better assist in caring for the animals, they should...the animals deserve it.

Very charming place! The dwarf kangaroo is cute at the front. The sloths are pretty active. The reptiles exhibit was cool. Inside the bat cave did have a scent but so do zoos! Maybe some ventilation would help? Seeing the bats was really cool! They’re very active. You can donate a bat which is cute and I did. You can also feed them. I bought a cute stuffed bat! I would def go back here.

Very nice and fun experience! They have cute animals and you can even feed some by hand! Don't recommend it for people who cannot follow directions or behave (this includes parents and their children).

We had a fantastic time today visiting. My almost three year old daughter is still telling everyone what she did today at the facility. Amanda and the other lovely woman (I didn’t get her name) working this afternoon (12pm-2pm) were pleasant, informative and wonderful with kids. We will tell more people about this place. Thank you!

This place is awesome! Was blown away by the collection and variety of animals. A wonderful place to take the family. It is a great place to learn about animals, not only bats but reptiles and other animals as well. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, environment was clean. We had a group of five and it was affordable and fun. I highly recommend going to this hidden gem. You could spend as little or as much time looking around and you wont be disappointed. The bats were the coolest!!!
