3 months agoAs the team physical therapist for Vegas Gymnastics Academy, I can confidently say that VGA takes a truly proactive approach to injury prevention and athlete wellness. Their commitment to keeping gymnasts strong, resilient, and performing at their best is second to none. The coaching staff is not only highly skilled but also deeply invested in the health and success of every gymnast. They prioritize proper technique, conditioning, and recovery strategies to ensure longevity in the sport. Beyond their expertise, they create a positive, supportive environment where gymnasts feel valued and motivated to push their limits safely. VGA is more than just a gymnastics academy—it’s a place where athletes receive top-tier training while being cared for like family. I highly recommend it to any gymnast looking for an elite yet supportive training environment! — Dr. Sarah Green, PT, DPT, CDN, CEAS Team Physical Therapist, Vegas Gymnastics Academy Green Physical Therapy

8 months agoOur Experience with VGA Gymnastics We have been long-time customers of VGA, with my daughter attending since she was 6 years old. She is now 13. Our experience had been positive under the previous ownership, but with the recent change in management, we began encountering several significant issues with the staff. Over time, tensions between us and the management grew due to numerous concerns. Unfortunately, this impacted my daughter’s training, and we noticed she was being held back from opportunities. Along with these challenges, the cost of services increased, with unexpected charges being added without prior notice. Concerned about these developments, I started attending my daughter’s classes. It became clear that she was not receiving the same level of training she once had. After her last practice, I had to console her as she left in tears due to how the staff had treated her. This was the breaking point for us. The following day, my wife and I approached the management to discuss the situation. Rather than taking accountability, they deflected blame. Ultimately, we agreed it was best for us to leave the facility. My wife specifically asked if we would receive a refund for the remaining balance on our account and if we would be charged any fees for leaving. The manager assured us that we would receive the refund, and there would be no penalties. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We were charged $500 for leaving, and despite paying for a uniform that we never received, the gym refused to refund us the cost. In total, we lost nearly $800. What followed was even more disturbing. The staff began contacting other local gymnastics schools in an attempt to blacklist my daughter from joining them. We were shocked by this type of behavior, as it seemed highly unprofessional and vindictive. In summary, our experience with VGA has been extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone considering this facility to look elsewhere.

a year agoWe absolutely love VGA! Their facility is amazing, featuring a smaller gym for the little ones and then a giant gym for the bigger kids/adults. Our son was hooked the first day with Coach Kay's awesome rec class. Since then we've done open gyms, the holiday events, privates, and still our son wants more days/times there. He can't get enough!

a year agoVGA is a great place for your kids to not only learn a sport, but to also learn about being a part of a team. The coaches show by example how to be considerate and support each other. They know when and how to push kids to do their best, and are always there to encourage and support them. My daughter (who has only been competing for about 2 years and is nowhere near their top gymnasts) recently sprained her ankle during practice, and 2 of the team coaches, as well as one of the owners of the gym, have text me to check up on her. Their actions prove that they're not just all talk, they truly care about their gymnasts!
