a month agoI loved that there are lots of areas to hang out, walk around, and for kids to play. The bouncy mats were in great condition, and they had extra so there was plenty of space for kids. The playground was very well designed, and made fun by incorporating a jet into the design. They had plenty of games and seating for groups to gather, and the spaces were well maintained. We had an issue with our camper that we needed to fix, and this pushed past our expected past our checkout time. The management worked with us and was very supportive. This was much appreciated.

2 weeks agoThis KOA had all the amenities to keep the kiddos entertained. It was a couple miles off the main VB strip. Within driving 🚗 distance of a few National Parks. Entertaining air show flow bys daily from the nearby airbase. Always near the action. The kids enjoyed the jump pillow and the cool jet inspired playground. The pools and the little lazy river were great to chill in. They even had a little pickleball court, not fenced in, but it was too windy to try that. Easy drive to the beech boardwalk with paid parking or catch a lift and walk it. It's a short drive.

2 weeks agoKOA staff were very helpful with our booking and even mentioned the special offers they were running. We haven't stayed yet, but we did buy the membership and booked our stay. Pool and amenities look great, and we can't wait for our stay.

a week agoNice facilities, lots of family activities available, friendly staff, everything well maintained. That said, it’s noisy and sites (while good sized) are not very private. Highway noise, noise from the fighter jets flying by all the time, loud music from the pool area all day. Stay away from site 111 unless you want to look at a well lit WiFi tower every night, all while still not being able to connect to the WiFi, go figure. Overall, meh for us, but I guess it depends on how you camp.

3 weeks agoUsually people are happy about upgrades but the lady was super annoyed we wanted one. Didn't even matter though, there was mold in the bathroom and an ungodly amount of ants and cockroaches. I get camping has bugs but we had to buy spray and traps and spray every night. Woke up every morning with ants crawling all over us. Pretty disgusting.
