Washington Park Recreation Center

The dudes that play around here are drunks and someone needs to do something about them drinking and driving! Especially when they have children around (not that it should matter). Apparently, lots of boys try playing basketball drunk and think that's smart. It's a huge liability for y'all.

I’m 12 and I’ve been going here for weeks and they have let me go in the gym and cardio room all the time but now there is a new employee and she didn’t let me in because I am 12 (I’m Hispanic btw) and last time I was in the cardio room there was a 8 year old girl with her mom and they didn’t say nothing about it and she wasent even tall enough to reach the top of the handle bars next to the stair master she couldn’t even reach the part she’s suppose to grab she could of fell busted her head open and bleed out or got brain damage and I’m a big kid I am 5’9 and I have some muscle on me I’m as big or bigger then a 15 year old

This park is perfect for a family BBQ picnic! It's surrounded by beautiful Victorian homes, adding to its charm. There's even a boathouse where you can rent boats and bikes. It's a wonderful spot for a day out with the whole family!

I am an elderly, disabled female. I was recording a pickleball meeting 2/7/25 and WP supervisor Set-up Sam Benavidez said I made him feel uncomfortable so he gave me a 3-months suspension from all rec centers, all Denver parks, and cannot view a recreational activity. I post a video on my YouTube channel and corrupt John Martinez suspends me for 1-year. Jolon Clark stopped me from speaking at the PRAB public forum and called me a liar. DPR is all about retaliation against the 1st Amendment.
