"Went out with the significant other for our first SUP experience. Quick and easy tutorial and conditions were great. Would definitely go again. Just make sure to try and do reservations since trying to do a spontaneous walk up appointment is likely not to get you a spot...that's what we tried to do the day before and there were no slots for most of the day haha. Water was just the right temperature, the channel is extremely calm with the exception of when a boat would come by. If we were to do it again we would consider doing 2 hours just so we could sit and relax for some portion of the time"

"This is an amazing adventure for you and your pup. You can get an hour long instruction and Sam is an excellent teacher and she will show you and your dog how to successfully paddle board and she takes wonderful pictures too. I highly recommend it for a fun day of Sun, surf and fun. Your friends can watch from a close grassy area and there is a clean bathroom near by and of course Liberty Station is just a few blocks away. Make sure you turn on Farragut instead of the physical address given and Farragut wil take youl straight down to a large parking lot and the water. Proceed to the Orange ten"

"My dog and I loved our lesson with Sam and Jack a few years ago. Now my dog is a paddling pro! SUP Connection is great for renting because it's so convenient. If I had my own board, I would have to either carry it to the water or blow it up every time I wanted to go out on the water. I know my dog would get antsy waiting and I think carrying everything to and from my car would be more tiring of a workout than paddling for two hours.
