a month agoMy son and I enjoy the YMCA. However, for how much it costs the hours are not great. I wish it was open until 9 on Saturday and Sunday. Also on Friday there is no drop off at the adventure center. It is family time. This is super annoying to many people hoping to get a workout in and end up having to stay with the kids in the adventure center. Otherwise it’s a great Y.

3 months agoI've been a member for almost a year and love it here. Some feedback: The gym could really use more stair climbers. Of the four, one has been waiting on a part for almost the whole time I've belonged and a second machine is often down temporarily. I suggest adding four new ones and keeping the old ones if it's a pain to get the parts replaced and some will always be out of order. In terms of freeing up space, I've never seen all of any other kind of aerobic machine being used, but the stair climbers are all taken quite frequently.

a month agoThe management has been asked by police to trespass a member who's family member threatened to kill an employee when they tried to intervene after weeks of these people making fun of disabled members. It's disgusting to know these people may be present if I take my disabled 18 year old there, and as the parent of a disabled child, I advise anyone who cares about human rights and personal safely to avoid this location and let them know you do not feel safe or approve of them allowing this to continue.

2 months agoI've enjoyed being a member at this YMCA, but mostly due to the friendly employees and short distance from our home. I think the facilities are in okay shape. Its nice there is an indoor pool, but from a weight-training perspective I found it to be somewhat of a limiting factor. I used the E-Gym a good bit and that works if you go off-hours, and I didn't enjoy spending time in the free-gym area due to the size and friction of working in.
