in the last weekWe did an early season American River north Fork Gorge trip. What a trip indeed! We are glad we started with the Class II rapids to warm up for the Class III. Our very qualified guide, Walker, suggested a swim in the Swimmers Rapid. Gary took him up on his offer and rode the waves with the excitement of a 7-year old. The rapids were full of surprises, exhilarations, hoots and laughter. Walker built a team spirit among us and we felt safe under his guidance. Definitely a milestone to measure future adventures. Thank you WET.

7 months agoMy friends and I had an absolute BLAST with WET on our white water rafting trip. We got so incredibly lucky with the absolute best guides: Ant, Drew, and Walker. They were the perfect mix of fun and stern and lead us to greatness all down the river! They ensured our safety and kept us laughing through all the rapids. The campsite and provided meals were also excellent. They took such good care of us!!! It was literally an awesome experience. If we were to go again, we would only choose WET! Thanks so much for such a memorable weekend!

10 months agoHad an amazing time on the full day Middle Fork of the American River trip. Our guide Walker was wonderful and managed to keep all six of us in the boat (no accidental swimming). They shuttled us 50 minutes from the meeting point to the launch point. We then spent a full day on the river, including lunch, and shuttled back when we were done. Great rapids, great people, and very professional guides. I purchased a Groupon for this activity so was able to save some money and book easily. Definitely recommend this company!

6 months agoI attended a WET 2-day Middle and South Fork rafting trip with some friends a few weeks back and it AWESOME! Our guides Ant, Drew, and Walker were super friendly and fun, and very knowledgeable about the river and its history. It really helped ease my nerves knowing that our guides were so well versed. White water rafting was both a nerve racking and thrilling experience! I would absolutely recommend taking a trip with the WET crew! This trip really convinced me to be more open to outdoorsy experiences like this! Thanks so much for such an incredible weekend!! :)

a year agoWith couple friends, we joined the trip for Labor Day weekend. It's my first time rafting and it was a fun experience for families and friends, might also be a great team building experience! I think it might be intimidating for people don't know how to swim, but with wetsuit and life jacket on at all times, it's hard to sink. We did the 2-day trip, we were told we could experience 'sleeping under the stars'... that's before it rained at 3 am... LOL... so it is really WET! We have 14 people as a group. There were 2 guides and 1 raft lady (she was in control of all luggage/bags and cooking material/equipment). We enjoyed the trip. I can see it's not for everyone, we're in our wetsuit most of the time (super hard to get it off when using the bathroom), there was water in the boots, there's no hot food...etc. I love the river/mountain scenery very much. It's very peaceful and there were lots of wildlife. If you're not into the wilderness camping experience, you could do the one day trip. Maybe we will do a different trip next time around.
