a year agoIf you are familiar with this location but haven't been in a while, don't go. And if are thinking about joining because of your proximity to this location, don't. You'll be disappointed. The renovations going on have suspended use of the pool, sauna, steam room, and pretty much all the showers. There are four or five shower stalls in the way back area of the locker room, which is now the front of the locker room. I believe the attendant told me that the renovations will be going on for at least six months.

a year agoGreat facility! Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. I’ve gone to many different group classes (yoga, stretch, cycle) and always have a good experience. Genuine pillar of the community and Richmond institution. Glad to have a strong YMCA in my neighborhood!

2 years agoGreat small cozy gym. Less gym equipments, also hours are little tricky, close early and also closed during lunch time. But still a 5 star for convenience of location. Nice bathrooms, you can take private bath, very convenient.

2 years agoAll new and NICE. Really small workout space but great equipment. Indoor pool only for laps and play (but should make appt.) Free nursery! I don't know all the details but our 7 yr old stayed and watched a movie. At times I couldn't get through on the phone. Good summer camp and lots of classes and sports for adults and kids (extra).

2 years agoLots of new equipment and the staff are great! The facility is kept clean and the location is great if you live or work in Richmond. I forgot to cancel before I moved and they were able to take care of it in 30 seconds! Much faster than when I had the same problem at the Rappahannock YMCA.
