"This is a very wonderful park. It covers hiking routes from simple to challenging. There is beautiful scenery along the way, whether simple or challenging. The place we climb most often is Eagle Rock. You can frequently see many eagles circling in the sky when the weather is good. You can also see eagles flying to the cliff when you reach Eagle Rock. Their nest is on the cliff, but my neck isn't long enough to see it."

"Very accessible Nature area that is close to but feels far from city streets. Easy-going, family-friendly stroll along a shady canyon & burbling stream, with lots of steeper trail options alongside for further adventure. Plenty of parking deeper into the canyon. Lots of reservable picnic areas, & restrooms. The Youth Science Institute is a cute little visit with a collection of taxidermy birds & live tortoises for the kids. Exploring the historical ruins is poignant & fascinating."
