a week agoThis nature preserve I stumbled upon by mistake but will be asking my boyfriend to return durning the sunset. Breathtaking views of San Jose and greater Bay Area. I am a fan now for sure. Apparently there’s great hiking which I My 10 month old daughter and I loved it!!!!! Downside no bathrooms.

2 months agoIncredible views at an elevation of 2000’ and easy to drive up. The trails are heavily switch-backed making them fairly level. This place does not get the attention it deserves and is not listed as a top attraction in San Jose. It should be. Put this one on the top of your list!

3 months agoThe ideal time to visit is unequivocally on a weekday, approximately 30 to 45 minutes before sunset. The viewpoint offers a spectacular overlook of SF especially at dusk, and the drive up here is also relatively short - it's amazing how close it is to the city. There aren't a whole lot of parking spaces, and they tend to fill quickly on weekends, so be sure to get there in advance. There are also trails that you could walk on and enjoy the nature, including the cows that roam the pasture. Overall, a great retreat from the city that one could enjoy right after work to clear the mind!
