a month agoWe really enjoyed our experience here! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the animals when asked questions. The highlights for us are touching/ feeding sting rays, the huge python, the seahorses, the huge tortoise, mermaid story time, and the tiny fish that come to suck on your hands in the tank at the end of the aquariums. My only criticism is that it would be nice to have signs with the names of the different species in the tanks. There isn't much information on anything, so answering the kids' questions is difficult. Also, there should be another hand washing station by the open tank of tiny fish that suck on your hands. There are paper towels only, so you have to walk all the way back to the beginning to wash your hands again.

3 months agoWe have come a few times to Blue Zoo and our kids of both ages love it! From the bird feeding to the hands on area, it’s a great place to get out of the house and explore. Wish we had more awesome kids places like this around town! Today Glen told us they have new fish and species bringing brought in soon, he was super friendly in welcoming us and educating about some of the upcoming things happening. We will definitely be back!

3 months agoThis place was so so fun, the staff are all very friendly and answered so many questions that me and my family had, the rays were most definitely my favorite part, they're so sweet and being able to pet them was an amazing experience. The birds were also the prettiest thing you ever saw, it was adorable just watching them eat. And the nibbler fish were fantastic, my little brothers both sat by them for like 10 minutes and watched the fish eat their hands. Every other animal was also just as amazing, and had such cute names. Also kudos to the staff for keeping it as safe and managed as they do, this place was amazing.

2 months agoThe Blue Zoo in Spokane is an AWESOME learning experience for kids of all ages! It’s the perfect place to have a birthday party too! I loved how easy it was to make my daughter’s birthday party arrangements and how great the staff was during her party! I also want to thank Johnathan for all of his help and the generous donation Blue Zoo Spokane has made to St Mary’s Catholic school. He has been more than willing to help in any way that he can!! I can’t wait to visit the Blue Zoo again soon! Thanks!
