a week agoWe did tubing at cape fear river adventures and enjoyed every min of it. I started looking for something to do last min on a Sunday and this was perfect. The staff were amazing and very informative. They were happy to answer all of our questions and even recommended different activities to try for next time. They honestly made my day with how nice, kind, and thoughtful they were. We also went to the restaurant that was located on the property and the service and food there was unmatched. I definitely plan to come back to do more adventures because I honestly felt like I was around family. Thanks for such a great experience.

5 months agoHad the pleasure this past summer of taking 2 granddaughters to camp this July 2024 and they had a wonderful week! Learning new things about canoeing and kayaking, river safety and much more. Met new friends that they still keep in touch with. It was awesome experience. The counselors working with their group, Andrew and Savanah were so knowledgeable and caring. And definitely an asset to your adventure camp. Thank you all for making it a gr8 experience for them. You all are awesome and we were so thankful to be able to attend the camp. Thanks for an amazing week!!

a week agoGreat place to kayak! The river is beautiful, there are different options for launching at different spots with varying difficulty. All of the staff were great. You'll enjoy this spot whether you're brand new and a little nervous about kayaking, or if you're a regular kayaker. You really can tailor your experience to your level of difficulty, and the staff are great at explaining everything. Kayaks are nice and super sturdy sit-in kayaks with good back support in the seat. I've only done the hourly kayak rentals, but I'm looking forward to doing a longer group trip! You should absolutely check this place out, it's definitely worth being on your summer activity rotation.

7 months agoWe had an excellent trip on the river today, loved both the equipment and customer service with Cape Fear River Adventures. The equipment was in great condition, sometimes rentals are run down, but we felt these were both very nice and reasonably priced. We took two solo kayaks upstream about three miles, stopped for a floating lunch, then paddled back downstream to the launch where we started. We saw some fishermen and three other individuals in our four hours "Down the Wild Cape Fear"; the book of that title motivated us to come out for a getaway. Highly recommend, planning to return in the future.

9 months agoWhat an awesome place. Took my Grandson there for his birthday. Everything was top notch. Wagons were spotless, linens and towels were high quality. Showers and restrooms were spotless. Unfortunately the river was up so we were only able to do a short canoe trip and some fishing down the river. The staff there were so amazing. Friendly courteous and so helpful. We will definitely be back to do some tubing down the river.
