"We had a great time! The half day trip was outstanding. Seeing the trees shedding their fall colored leaves was picturesque. That was definitely a perk of visiting in October. The staff members were very helpful, courteous, funny and polite from the time we checked in until they pulled our kayaks out of the water at the end. After the half day trip workout, we even treated ourselves to yummy specialty coffees at Out of the Blue (back at the same building where we checked in). We had a full, family day and saw many others along the way doing the same. I highly recommend Cave Country Canoes for "

"Amazing kayaking adventure! We kayaked the 7 mile trip and it was perfect. Beautiful weather and scenery. Stopped off at multiple shaded beaches on the way to picnic and explore, which was so fun. The mini rapids throughout the trip were the highlight for us! We also saw turtles, otters, ducks and even someone hook a bass from their kayak. The gift shop had hats, water shoes, dry bags and much more. If it’s your first time going and plan on staying out on the river for hours I would bring hats, sunscreen, small cooler with snacks and drinks, and wear water shoes. Also, grab a map at check in t"

"Camping sites are clean & ready for hook up. Store delivered the firewood we bought to our site. Delicious ice cream! Ckean showers & restrooms. - river kayaking was fun. Late September, so water level was low, which made the trip longer (necessary walking), but beautiful. Lots of places to pull over & rest or eat. Saw some turtles too. The only things missing were ropes to pull the kayaks. Bending over & dragging them was painful."
