"Sales associates ignore older women. Been a customer for 25 yrs, spent 1000s of $, and have more backpacking/outdoors experience than any of the sales people. I went in to lk for a bike rack and cargo pants. Encountered 3 sales associates, NONE of whom asked or acknowledged that I might need info. Yet, I watched them approach other customers and ask if they needed help. This has happened TOO many times. I had avoided shopping at REI but the one time I was there, the sales associates provided great and knowledgeable customer service. Will make REI my first go to place now."

"My first visit to Quest and I was impressed! I had suggestions from a friend as to what my boyfriend might need for his next trip and although I had no idea what I was buying CAMERON was amazing! He understood that I didn't know much and didn't try to just sell me the top shelf. He was super informative about different brands, functionality and cost. "Excellent customer service. The employees here really know about the products. I happened to need a pair of hiking boots and tried on many, finally settled on the one that cost a little more but definitely fit my needs the best. Daniel was the employee who helped me with the boots, but there was another lady whose experience hiking all over the world made her advice very valuable as well.(Can’t remember her name) As a totally unexpected bonus and shock, I had over 100 reward points that I gathered over the last 10 years.
