a month agoThis place is a lot of fun! Great pizza and hot dogs, great ciders, wide selection of arcade games. There were a surprising number of Japanese rhythm games, which was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint is that the restrooms needed some attention basically the entire time we were there, which was a few hours.

a week agoCidercade is a TON of fun with a lot of experiences for everyone to enjoy. There are so many games and game types- definitely worth visiting with a bunch of people. We’re not fans of cider- we sampled a few but did not like it the best. That being said, a lot of patrons kept the bar busy! There are limited food options- they have a variety of pizza with a couple of salads and a couple of sides. We tried the nachos & the chicken roll-up which was delicious! I wish there was a selection of beers or hard liquor so we could enjoy a little more.

a month agoThis place is for entertainment for playing arcade video games. Entrance fee is $12 per person. Majority arcade games are free to play. Food and drink are extra. Kids and youth will love this place.

6 months agoCidercade Houston is an absolute gem that I discovered while looking for arcades around our last appointment in the Heights. The massive parking lot was packed, but we eventually found a spot and made our way inside, where we were greeted by hundreds of arcade games. They have everything from retro classics to racing games, motorcycle simulators, pinball machines, and even ping-pong. For just $12, you get unlimited gameplay on every activity, which is a fantastic deal. The atmosphere was incredible, with people of all ages—from little kids to adults to grandparents—playing video games and having a great time. It was so cool to see everyone enjoying themselves. The bar in the middle offers a wide variety of drink options, and the service was super fast. You order what you want, and they text you when your food is ready. We had the pizza rolls, which were really good, but they also have other food options. Despite how busy it was, we never had to wait long to jump on a game, which was a definite plus. I also noticed some birthday parties going on, so if you’re looking for a venue for your next get-together, this would be a great option. Cidercade is a fantastic concept, and I hope they open more locations around the Houston area. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

a month agoValue is 5 stars. You can’t beat one low price to revisit some of your favorite childhood games, and the cider is great too. I’ve come with my senior parents, my teenager nieces, my 5 year old nephew and 7 year old niece — and each time we’ve come we’ve had a blast. If you’re looking for more high end gaming or specific cabinets it’s might not be the spot for you — but for the 10-15$ to have fun for hours — you really can’t beat it. Get there early and you’ll miss the crowds.
