3 months agoThis is a beautiful park with plenty of walking paths, grassy areas and a fantastic view of Mission Valley. If you climb the 115ish stairs you are treated with a tunnel painted with a beautiful mural. There are small statues throughout the park which could be a fun game for kiddos to see how many they spot. The parking lot is not very large, but there seems to be a good flow of cars coming and going.

5 months agoCivita Park in San Diego is a fantastic spot for a day outdoors! The park is well-designed with open spaces, beautiful landscaping, and plenty of activities for all ages. There are big grassy areas, a splash pad for kids, and nice walking paths with great views. I love how clean and well-kept everything is, and there are lots of places to sit and relax or have a picnic. There’s even a garden area and a playground for kids! Highly recommend it!

3 months agoWent for the Saturday Farmers market. Enjoyed lunch at one of the food vendors. My husband ate a Kenyan plate from Rafikiz, and I had noodles with stirfry beef from Social Belly, which were both delicious. Also got a few small loafs of sourdough bread. There is a parking lot and street parking too.

6 months agoThis place is a really nice encompassing park. There are multiple playgrounds, multiple clean one stall bathrooms. There are several different areas where different groups can have birthday parties. There's ping pong table areas. There are community gardens. There's barbecue. There are open grass areas. There is a fenced in dog park at the very top of this park. The one negative about this park is it's all uphill, so if you have trouble walking or you have a wheelchair, I highly recommend looking at the closer parking in the community centers closer to the area you're going to be in. The wooden stairs to the very top that goes under a bridge and has breathtaking views but it's not for the faint of heart. The dog park is enclosed. It is all dirt loose dirt. There are areas to sit in both small and big dog parks. And both are long enough to throw a ball for a good distance.

a year agoReally cool and modern park for kids. Our kids are 3 and 5 and they had a blast at the park. They really enjoyed the sand box and the big kid area. Lots of open area to run around and multiple bathrooms to keep everyone happy. Plenty of covered sitting areas to keep out of the sun. Perfect place to host a birthday party or to meet up for a play date. Nicely groomed walking paths make it easy to get around and there is a garden area which I assume was for the residents who live around the park. Overall a super nice park!
