"One of my favorite parks in San Diego! Beautiful little playground, clean (flushable) public bathrooms, rinse showers, lifeguard, and La Jolla Shores is a great beach. Oh, and a free parking lot! Get there early though for parking. My favorite time is 7am; get set up in the park or on the beach, and leave by 1pm when it’s hot. Kids love Kellogg Park! Places to eat within walking distance if you don’t pack any food to bring. Some picnic tables at the park, or bring blankets. Dog friendly, although we always leave ours at home.
