2 weeks agoWe’ve previously stayed here and it was great. Stayed here last night and it was a lot dirtier than last time. Trash in the pool area, in the pool, etc. the kid hot tub was hotter than the adult hot tub. My big issue was the 3 gigantic spiders in our room. I have arachnophobia and was up all night. We would’ve went to change rooms if our daughter wasn’t already asleep after a long day and it’s Easter weekend. Our first trip here was great. This trip was not. The service was great though.

a month agoStayed the weekend for Spring break and it was very busy but my kids had an amazing time. The staff was nice and kept everything running smoothly. Breakfast was a good combo of hot foods and grab and go items. Pool was clean and plenty for the kids to do. Room was clean and the front desk called shortly after we arrived to make sure our room was up to our standards. Who I presumed to be the owner was present and checked in with people while pool side to make sure our stay was great. Definitely planning another trip.

a month agoI am giving this a 5 star review with several things considered. 1. It’s a budget hotel that exceeded our expectations. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. There is a down-home, worn in (in an endearing, welcoming way), comfortable feel to it. 2. The rooms and the pool area were very clean. 3. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, I called the next day to ask them for the brand of the mattress. I’m heading to mattress firm this week to test comparable mattresses! No joke. Despite sharing a bed with two of my children, I had incredible sleep. 4. Really good Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Best fish street tacos I’ve had in a while! 5. Coffee was not great, but dunkin’ is right across the parking lot! Something to consider- if you don’t like crowds, don’t go for a spring break “staycation” like we (and clearly everyone else) did. The pool was very crowded unless you’re there for the last or first hours of the day. Bring a sound machine to drown the sound of hyped up kids returning to their rooms!

3 weeks agoRoom: If you like to sleep on a slab of concrete, then this hotel is just for you! The bed we slept on was very hard and uncomfortable. My husband could barely walk the next day because of the low quality mattress. Otherwise, the room was clean and acceptable. Pool: Our 2 year old loved the pool. It could use some updating, but the quality for the price was not bad. Breakfast: Very good. Clean, lots of options. Location: Derr Dutchman is right there for dinner. We would come again.

a month agoHad a quick girls' getaway for two nights at the Comfort Inn. The room was clean and comfy. The pool was packed sometimes, but my daughter still had fun. Lots of families, but it was surprisingly quiet evenings (probably 'cause the kids were wiped out from swimming!). Good food nearby. Everyone working there was super nice. Breakfast was crazy busy, so we only went once, but it was good. We'll definitely do another short trip sometime.
