Desert Rose Playhouse

It was cute, and I great place to preform in. Could use some updates

Behive was an amazing show! This is an intimate theater that seats maybe 100, so you feel a part of the performance. The seats were comfortable, the temperature good - an excellent venue overall. The cast was good, but the overall experience was far greater than the sum of the parts. One of the few local shows where I never checked my watch once!

The play was fun. The actors fabulous. The building was horrible. There is no heat or hot water. I feel that the price, although not too much, was not worth the price paid. I will not be attending any functions at this theater again.

The shows produced by the theater tend to be good for community theater! From what I hear, they are looking at becoming an Actors Equity theater, which will probably improve the level of the productions. Don't get me wrong some of their shows are great using amateur talent, but they could be about to turn into something great!

My husband took me to see this production, if Next to Normal. Besides supporting a few of the cast members he knows, it's supporting our local Art productions. We have extremely great writers and directors who have put together this play/musical which is overwhelming with Joy, Sorrow, laughter and love. The cast is amazing you get so close to them if you sit real close, you also get lost in their character. If touches your heart like no other and I believe everyone in and out of the production can relate in some way in their personal life. Stop by and see it. So worth a great afternoon or anytime. Thankyou Desert Rose for a quant and personal atmospheric playhouse and bringing this musical of Next to Normal into our lives. Look forward to the next show.
