"I was at Duck Hollow in Oakmont with a friend today. SmoothSolomon's seal, Great Laurel( Rhododendron Maximum),Northern spicebush, American elm, American beech, white oaks, Cutleaf coneflower, thin-leafed sunflower, elderberry, native violets, dewberry bushes, new york fern, and little fish in the streams. It's a beautiful park that you should visit. The birds are similar to the ones I have : blue-gray gnatcatcher, red-eyed vireo, wood thrush, gold finches, harry woodpecker. It gave me an idea of what my woods should look like."

"It's almost summer and all the boats are lined off here, persons set up tents and food tables for their private gatherings. It's pretty lively here and it's like a mini party on each boat. The walkway is also filled with persons eating and socializing."
