"Great location with parking lot, dock and ramp. Water was like glass and great for paddle boarding and kayaks. Minor motor boat traffic. Only passed 2 on our paddle to the lake and back. Two osprey nests on the power line towers."

"This location is quite scenic, and has a new floating dock, built since Aug 2022. It's a nice place to launch a kayak or fishing boat. The river sits in a low gradation, pretty flat region, so the current is extremely slow, almost unnoticed. The water is deep along most banks, so take precautions when exiting water vessels in any place other than the boat launches."

"Great spot for kayaking. Launched from the dock because the ground was very muddy and slippery. Easy to explore in either direction. The usual road to get here is under construction right now, so you'll need to drive a bit further through the commercial park to take the detour coming from Durham."
