We had the BEST time! Everyone was so polite & friendly & the kiddo was so talkative & gave us the whole run down! He even told us if we fell in we’d be fine with our life jackets! He was the cutest & this was the best experience we could’ve asked for! Will be returning plenty of time & recommending to everyone! Next time we will just wear sunscreen lol

What a great little operation I made reservations online, then easy pleasey when I arrived. The kayak was placed on a clever launch where you can step in and slide into the canal. Just as easy on return. Parking is only feet away right in the heart of Fairport. (Of course a perfect sunny October day didn’t hurt!). Highly recommend!

Had an awesome experience this weekend at ECBC! I appreciated being able to reserve the boats online pretty much last minute and felt the price was a steal for a few hours of fun. I never knew you could kayak on the canal, so it was a new experience for our group. Very relaxing and fun, overall a great way to spend an afternoon! Can’t wait to come back again soon.

We had never been in a canoe prior to this, but had been in a kayak, so we used the paddles rather than the oars. Might try the oars next time, but that did not detract from how much we enjoyed the experience. We asked which direction he would recommend and followed that. We went up to the locks, got great pics of the Flight of 5 locks, then paddled back. The challenge was getting back out of the water, but other than that, and me getting soaking wet from the paddles, we had a blast! We'll likely consider this for next year as well. It turned out to being a beautiful day and made for a great way to wind up the weekend.

It's my first time kayaking and wont be the last! Will surely go back here. All the staff are friendly. We had an amazing time!
