💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Dress appropriately for varying weather conditions, considering you'll be in the shade of trees, exposed to breezes, and standing for an initial period.
  • Use the restroom before leaving home or before the safety demo, as only outhouses are available at the start/end and none on the course.
  • Plan for the activity to last 2-3 hours in the trees, but be prepared for it to extend to 3.5 hours or more if there are delays from other groups.
  • If you want to move quickly, try to be in a small/fast group or arrive early to avoid being stuck behind slower participants.
  • Make reservations in advance to secure your spot.
  • Sign up for their newsletter to receive discount offers.
  • Assess your child's experience with carabiners/rock climbing and their listening skills; these are crucial for a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Consider taking only one child at a time if they are on the younger side or lack significant experience and self-reliance.

Things to Consider

  • Participants are largely 'on their own clipping in and out at dangerous heights,' which may unnerve some parents or individuals.
  • The activity is physically strenuous and requires effort; it's not a passive experience.
  • There's a significant initial waiting period of 30+ minutes for safety demonstrations before starting the course.
  • No restrooms are available on the course itself, only outhouses at the starting area.
  • Progression can be significantly slowed by other guests, especially if you are in the back of the line, potentially extending the course time.
  • Hesitation about taking a 10-year-old without prior experience with carabiners/rock climbing or strong listening skills, and strong reservations about taking more than one child simultaneously without these attributes.

Price & Value

Customers consider it "well worth the price" and state "prices aren't bad." Specific pricing isn't mentioned, but discounts can be obtained by signing up for the newsletter.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • No specific accessibility accommodations for physical or sensory needs are mentioned, implying it requires a certain level of physical capability.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • No specific food policy is mentioned. The venue focuses on the outdoor adventure with limited amenities (outhouses), suggesting participants should plan for their own food/drinks outside of the course.

🚗Parking Info

  • No specific parking details were provided in the reviews.

👥Crowd Levels

  • Can become crowded, leading to significant delays for guests, especially if they are in the back of the line behind slower groups.
  • Groups that are small and fast are advised to go first to minimize slowdowns.

🛡️Safety Features

  • Mandatory and thorough safety demonstrations are conducted before the activity begins.
  • Safety is stated as a priority by staff.
  • While guests are self-managed for clipping in/out, staff members are available to assist and perform rescues if an individual gets stuck or needs help on the course (e.g., Lars' intervention).
  • Staff are described as attentive and reassuring, even in stressful situations.

When to Avoid

  • If you or your child are very nervous about self-managing safety clips at dangerous heights without constant direct supervision.
  • Bringing young children who are not mature enough to follow safety instructions precisely or lack the physical dexterity for the course.
  • If you're expecting a highly supervised, hands-on staff-led experience throughout the course itself.
  • If your family prefers activities with readily available indoor restrooms and amenities during the course.

10 year old daughter love it! All smiles all day. Some tips: • dress for the weather. Remember you’re in the shade of the trees, breeze of the water, and the first 30+ minutes is standing around waiting to get started plus safety demos. • my daughter has experience with carabiners and rock climbing. She’s usually a good listener. If that weren’t the case, I’d be hesitant about taking a 10 year old. And I’d be real nervous about taking more than one at the same time. • the magic of Go Ape is that you’re not micromanaged by the staff. Literally you’re out there on your own clipping in and out at dangerous heights. If that freaks you out, maybe take pause. • 2 outhouses were clean and stocked. They’re still outhouses. Go before you leave home. No restrooms on the course. • plan for 2-3 hours in the trees. If you’re in the back of the line, you may be slowed significantly by other guests. Small/fast groups should go first. • make a reservation. Sign up for the newsletter to get a discount.

I have been ziplining before, but this place was way more strenuous as far as what you had to do. Plan to be there at least 2 hours. We were there 3 and a half. Prices aren't bad. Definitely need reservations. Had a great time! I didn't think I'd make it through, but I did.

It was a wonderful experience for a bachelorette party, which started with a great safety demonstration and ended with a semi-dramatic rescue after I managed to inexplicably and inescapably attach myself to a rope ladder. Shout-out to Lars (staff member), who was very attentive and also very reassuring as he came to my aid to get me unhooked and through the final leg of the journey. Despite a fear of heights, I was never (that) afraid, and had a great time.
