5 months agoReally like this place. Tallest indoor walls I ever seen! 70ft! I’ve met people that come from Brooklyn just for the 70ft walls. It’s relevantly smaller gym otherwise, thus the reduced monthly price compared to other bigger climbing gyms. Also one of the only gyms that gives you a good deal for the 10 pack. I was given 2 additional passes(12 total) vs most other gyms that are $30/day pass and $300/10 pack(no real incentive to buy in bulk). Really cool community, friendly staff, and chill atmosphere. Love the balcony and recreation area on the mezzanine level, cool place to chill, have lunch and play ping pong. Overall dope spot.

3 months agoThis gym always exceeds my expectations! The route setting is fantastic and always updated. They have tons of community events and fun activities, plus the place is super clean. I LOVE climbing tall routes and you can't get better than here. All that aside, what really sets GOAT apart from other gyms is the staff. Everyone is super friendly, you get greeted with a warm welcome and the staff actually cares about you and your climbing. It's really refreshing to be around so much positive energy. There are other gyms closer to me but this place is absolutely worth the drive. This place lives up to its name!!! Greatest of All Time.

a week agoI recently had the pleasure of visiting GOAT Climbing Gym in Hackensack, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The gym itself is well-maintained, offering a great variety of routes that cater to different skill levels, making it an excellent option for both beginners and experienced climbers. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, creating a real sense of community among climbers. One of the highlights of our visit was our climbing guide, Rylan. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, very encouraging throughout our session. He helped keep the environment comfortable and relaxing, which was especially great for those of us who were newer to climbing. His patience and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable, ensuring that everyone felt confident and supported. Overall, GOAT Climbing Gym is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to climb in a welcoming and well-equipped facility. Whether you're just getting started or looking for a new climbing community, this is definitely a place worth checking out. We'll definitely be back.

2 months agoI love this place so much that I had both of my kids’ birthday parties here. The staff is what makes this place fantastic, but also it is an excellent, clean facility with high ceilings and a private party FLOOR. My son turned 7 at the time we had his birthday there. Friends were around the same age, and they had a blast. One girl got scared and started crying once she got up to the top of their climbing tree, because she was scared to go back down. The staff was sensitive to have the other kids take a water break at this time, and one of the female staff members was incredibly patient and gentle in helping the girl feel comfortable enough to let her help her down. Amazingly, the girl wanted to try the party rock climbing wall after that - I think she had built her confidence + bond/trust with staff. For my older daughter’s birthday as well, there were some kids who were a little nervous to climb. But the staff is absolutely excellent with them, and everyone in the end truly enjoyed their time there. I personally love coming here with the kids and highly recommend Goat Climbing for birthday parties. The private floor/space is a wonderful setting for your partygoers to bond, and even a really nice place for the parents who stay to just hang out and enjoy. Rock climbing is a great confidence booster for kids, in addition to a good workout and exercise in physical problem solving. I’m so glad Goat Climbing opened up in this area!

a year agoThis is an exciting climbing gym located in a low traffic area with plenty of parking. They have 60 foot rope climbing walls with lead, auto-belay, and top rope options available. There are 4 floors in total with a different bouldering section available on 3 of them. The huge windows in the weightlifting area help create a serene environment. There is a balcony with seating that has a wonderful view of Jersey on one side and NYC on the other. Everything is clean and well kept, while the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
