It’s a beautiful park and a truly unique experience—if you're in the area, it's definitely worth seeing at least once. The striking reddish colors of the lake, combined with the natural foam caused by unique bacteria in the highly saline water, create an otherworldly scene. The surrounding mountains add a stunning backdrop that enhances the whole experience. The only downside is the $10 parking fee, which feels a bit excessive considering there are no real amenities, no food or drinks, just a basic restroom. Overall, a memorable stop for nature lovers and photographers alike.

This was a really nice park to visit! The views of the lake and surrounding mountains are great. There is a visitor center that has some nice souvenirs from the lake and a lot of really cool information about the history of the lake itself... Namely that it is the second most salty body of water on earth besides the Dead Sea. Definitely a beautiful trip, we came in early early spring end of winter so were lucky to see some snow capped peaks around still too.

Beautiful place to learn about this amazing lake. In the middle of March, the wicked winds were so strong and it was super cold. Bundle up! Completely worth it!!

If you're in utah, this is a must visit. How could you not go see the great salt lake at least 1x? Better photos at sunset, obviously. I understand people swim in the lake because the salt makes you float, but there were a lot of dead ducks in the water, slightly odd. Also, the copper mine on the otherside of the freeway has a smelter?? that is an impressive presence!

Stopped here while driving west from the airport. The scenery is beautiful, and it is eerily quiet. Entry is $10. The staff was there, but didn't say much unless you asked a question. Visitor center also has a bathroom & brochures. You can definitely smell the salt in the air as soon as you get out of your vehicle. We visited in early November, so it was freezing cold. Also because of this, the water had receeded a lot, which meant there weren't as many flies buzzing around. You can swim in the lake, but I wouldn't. Wasn't really much to do, but I was told you can do a boat tour on the lake.
