Visitors can enjoy walking along scenic trails, having picnics by McGovern Lake, or exploring cultural sites like the Japanese Garden and the Sam Houston Monument. For those interested in arts and entertainment, the Miller Outdoor Theatre hosts free performances ranging from concerts to plays. in the last weekLarge green space with grass, an amphitheatre and a huge reflection pool with a monument. There are also public washrooms here. There is a japanese garden here but it was closed at the time I came (Feb 2025). Awesome place to simply walk, hangout or have a picnic.

5 months agoA great park to spend a good day of an afternoon. There are a lot of bars and other places to have a drink and a snack. There is also a small train that runs true a part of the park.
