in the last weekWe had such a great time at Hopscotch! Every installation was so creative and fun — there is definitely something for everybody. The art was immersive, the staff were welcoming, and we loved how interactive the exhibits were! The only thing that gave us a little pause was the ball pit. We still had some fun while we were in there, but there was a noticeable smell and many of the balls seemed visibly dirty, which made it hard to fully relax and enjoy it. We ended up cutting our time there short because of that. It didn’t take away from the rest of our visit, but it was something we definitely noticed. It's possible we just caught it on a bad day. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Hopscotch to anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience in San Antonio! Just maybe bring some hand sanitizer if you plan on jumping into the ball pit.

a month agoThis was our first time here. It’s absolutely beautiful. If you go to every room it takes about an hour. I like it a lot and the kids did to as well. I recommend it to anyone that what’s to just hang out and have fun. The drinks were amazing!!

a month agoIf you're in San Antonio and looking for a place where your mind will be genuinely bamboozled, then the Hopscotch Museum of Illusions is the place to be. This place is like stepping into a dream world where gravity, logic, and common sense all took a lunch break. First off, the atmosphere—wow. It’s like someone took every cool optical illusion you’ve ever seen on the internet and turned it into a physical playground. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by walls that defy physics and rooms that mess with your depth perception. One moment you’re standing upright, and the next, you feel like you’re going to fall into a vortex of visual confusion. Spoiler: You won’t, but your brain is not okay for a solid 10 minutes after. The designs? Creativity at its peak. Every exhibit is more mind-bending than the last. The interactive exhibits have you jumping, spinning, and wondering if you’ve just been invited to the weirdest dance party in the universe. Seriously. Once you step into the Hopscotch Museum of Illusions, your reality may never be the same, and you're 100% okay with that. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a fun, quirky, and just a little bit confusing time. Just don’t expect to leave with your brain fully intact. But hey, it’s worth it.

3 weeks agoOur whole family loved this place. Such a cool experience and everyone was friendly and welcoming even though it was busy. Book your tickets in advance because they do fill up. I was thankful they only allow a certain amount of people per time slot so it doesn’t get too crowded. There’s a bar when you walk in with snacks and drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic options. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.

a month agoAbsolutely FANTASTIC experience and worth the visit. I love how interactive this place is, my son loved being able to interact with the exhibits. The staff are excellent and extremely helpful from the checkin staff to the bar staff and all the lovely people answering questions in the exhibits. As a local, I was skeptical that this place was a kitschy tourist trap, but it was 100% worth checking out and I’m so glad I gave it a chance
