First time kayaking in a tandem kayak, and it was a tremendous success! I had initial concerns about capsizing, but Gail's informative guidance quickly eased my worries. She provided us with numerous helpful tips and pointers before we embarked on the water, which made the entire experience a breeze. By the end of our session, I felt like a pro! The kayaks and life jackets were impeccably clean, and the calm river's beauty enhanced the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend this place to beginners as it is extremely beginner-friendly. I will definitely be visiting again in the near future. Thank you once again Gail!

Everything was easy and pleasant. The website has all the information you need, and you can reserve in a matter of minutes. The kayaks were waiting for me on my arrival. I rented for two hours which is enough to get to "the end" and back. The river was beautiful. Gail was lovely. It couldn't have been better.

My husband and I are fairly knowledgeable with kayaking and have gone many times but this was special! The owner was amazing and guided us on a lovely sunset tour in Saugerties waters. She gave us some historical stories and fun information about the area and the surroundings. She set it all up perfectly bringing us to a stunning spot in the water to experience the sunset. She even brought fresh blueberries, healthy snacks and water. It’s a great way to spend your evening.

We had an absolute blast on the sunset tour of Esopus Creek. Gail's a wonderful guide who made sure we had a safe, fun and invigorating ride — two hours very well spent.

Beautiful location... the lake/river is very scenic and a great way to spend a few hours. We did 2 hours and they flew by. Gail is great and very helpful and sweet.
