a month agoWe discovered this park while looking for a place to play tennis. The courts are well maintained, with shade and water fountains, we really enjoyed playing there. The park itself is quite big, there are soccer and basketball fields, also a playground with a splash pad, and many beautiful spots for sitting. Paring is free.

3 weeks agoThis is the best and most beautiful park in Tampa Florida. So clean and so much space. The scenery is amazing. Having a picnic or running around the park is so much fun.

2 months agoWe visited the park for Gasparilla Art Festival 2025. We were amazed by the various art works. The park has a playing area for kids, tennis courts, a walking path and a nice Hillsborough river view. It's on the opposite side of Tampa river walk.

3 months agoThis 25 acres of greenery and active sports venues is a refreshing space in the busy city. The basketball courts include shaded even has shaded spectator bleachers. The park also offers pickleball, softball, tennis and adult and children's leagues. The boathouse provides storage for dragon boats used for practices for the dragon boat races. There are many spaces here for a bring-your-own-picnic-or-meal with no food sales except during special events. Have a picnic. On your blanket in the many green spaces, covered table area, or the veranda of the event center with a beautiful Riverview and the sights of University of Tampa's iconic minarets. Accessible mens and women's restrooms With 2 grab bars and more than 5ftx 5ft space and diaper changer Great free parking lots with accessible van parking. Park is very accessible with stylish ramps to manage the variations in terrain. A delightful park!

2 weeks agoLoved the playground. We took our 6 and 2.5 years old kids and they had a blast. Played in the playground for almost an hour, then went to the splash pad and spent about 2 hours there. Then again went in the playground. It was a fun day. If you are planning to visit, then bring lots of snacks and a towel and changing clothes.
