a week agoDear Lesley "Les" Miller Jr., From: The McKay Family I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the extraordinary park you have created. This space is not just a park to my family and me; it is a vibrant oasis of health, creativity, and healing where the spirit of our inner children can flourish. The park's thoughtful design invites us to roam freely through nature, with lush greenery and inviting pathways that beckon for exploration. Its prime location near our home at Seminole Apartments transforms it into an accessible sanctuary, and we are hopeful that it will remain a well-tended haven, equipped with up-to-date facilities for families to cherish together. I actively encourage my children to embark on adventures within this enchanting space, recognizing the immeasurable value of play in their growth. The attention to detail in maintaining safe, sturdy fencing truly reflects the community’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of everyone who visits. This remarkable "creativity and healing space" serves as a catalyst for connection, bringing together parents and families through a variety of support groups and gatherings. By sharing these pictures, I hope to convey the deep appreciation we have for our outdoor experiences and the impact they have on our lives. Thank you once again for your unwavering dedication to this beautiful space. If you’re interested in partnering on initiatives to nurture and elevate this community treasure, I would be delighted to connect. Warmest regards, The McKay Family

3 months agoIt’s a hidden gem and such a great park in the temple terrace location , the kids play area is well designed for different types of climbs and gymnastic activities , the splash pad is clean and looks cool , the park has a well maintained paved trail and there are 2-3 shelters available. Decent parking place with additional parking on the back of the building

a week agoLooking for a fun, safe space to play for the littles?? One of a handful of parks that has artificial turf so there's less mess and fewer "uh-oh's". Plus it is fully fenced in which gives you more peace of mind. This playground is one big adventure waiting for your kiddo!

11 months agoA HIDDEN GEM and worth the drive down from Wesley Chapel to Tampa! This is the motherload of playground/splash pad combos. It isn’t in the nicest part of town (I went to high school next door), but the facility felt safe and very family-friendly. We went on a Sunday around 11:00am with my husband, and our 4yo & 17-month old. The playground is enclosed with wide open turf flooring (wheelchair & stroller friendly). There are a couple different places to park. It was easy to maneuver my stroller through the walkways. There are many covered picnic tables, multiple restrooms, dressing rooms with a diaper changing table. The playground has something for everyone. The splash pad area is separate. It has a small pirate ship with a dual slide. A shower to rinse off. We will definitely be coming back here, especially this Summer when we need to cool down & keep the kiddos busy!

2 weeks agoWe recently visited this splash pad and playground and were disappointed by the lack of adult supervision. There were around 40 children, many playing very roughly—pushing, shoving, and even physically knocking down younger kids. Unfortunately, my three-year-old was pushed several times, and screamed at by older children. Despite the crowd, I did not see any parents or caregivers nearby to address unsafe behavior. If you have younger children or prefer a more closely supervised environment, you may want to be cautious about visiting during busy times. Safe play depends on adult supervision, which was missing during our visit. I hope this helps other families make an informed decision.
