2 weeks agoAbsolutely loved it when I went mid-December! It’s a beautiful and surprisingly big conservatory slightly north of downtown. There was some free street parking available (at least in the morning when I went). My friends & I got there as it was opening, obtained our free same day tickets by filling out a quick form (barely had to wait in line), and really enjoyed our time walking through the conservatory & the rotating exhibit. Anyways, I can’t recommend this place enough!

a month agoWho would have thought of such superb conservatory in town and nearby zoo. It was an unplanned destination for me as i had some time to kill before the zoo lights admission. Looked around on places nearby and found this gem. You will need to place an online booking via the web and it is free (you can donate for the upkeep as well). Meanwhile on the process, just select date, time of entry and number of pax. Download QR and show it at the entrance. Very simple. This conservatory is neither a huge nor a small area. Mesmerizing views from all the rooms. There are a few spots that have benches for you to just have a pause and be present with nature. To me this is one of the must see places. 😊

3 months agoThe Lincoln Park Conservatory in Chicago is a serene urban oasis that offers a stunning escape into nature. Set in a beautifully restored Victorian glasshouse, it features four distinct rooms filled with exotic plants, from towering palms in the Palm House to vibrant orchids in the Orchid House. The conservatory’s lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a quiet stroll or photography, and with free admission, it’s an accessible and charming destination for both locals and visitors. Whether you’re a plant enthusiast or just looking to unwind, the Lincoln Park Conservatory provides a refreshing, tranquil experience in the heart of the city.

2 months agoThe Lincoln Park Conservatory is an absolutely treasure within the city. This beautiful building houses many incredible plants. The orchids were amazing as were the various colors of poinsettia. I never know there were that many colors of poinsettia. Entry was free; however, you had to order tickets ahead of time. That was a smooth process. The Lincoln Park Zoo is nearby so it’s easy to visit both in a close time span.

a month agoWell i went for my birthday in April which was in the middle of a flower show. Beautiful plants definitely a place to visit while in Chicago. It is free! However you must have a reservation and a time frame before entering you can get those tickets online. Dont forget!
