"Beautiful area to spend time with family, whether you like fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or soaking in the sun this is the right spot. Plenty of parking areas, multiple drops for kayaks, light currents so perfect for novice kayakers. There’s a spot in front of the ticket booth that has a beautiful shallow area in the center of the river. Pet friendly and the bathrooms were clean."

"Five dollars to enter, but well worth it. A total oasis with flush, not put toilets. The river is nice and cool even in summer with a gentle current. Great for a picnic and a swim with plenty of tables and parking. Also a nice stop for birdwatching. I am looking forward to many more visits."
