4 months agoReally fun playground located right across the street from the Belmont Park area. It’s right between the bay and the ocean. There are bathrooms and showers, volleyball courts, lots of engaging structures for a variety of ages, benches, and chairs, grassy areas, etc. Would highly recommend.

4 months agoStayed at Hyatt and had to checkout earlier. Kids spent a couple of hours with ease. Great views, clean park and lots of space to sit. Just watch out for kids as the park is huge and have some hidden spots not easier to view.

8 months agoOn our most recent visit to Belmont park we parked in the lot adjacent to this park because there was plenty of parking available. On the way back we stopped to the kids play at Marita Gardner playground. I didn’t realize the legacy of Marita Gardner, she was an educator and community activist who was killed by a drunk driver while she was painting over graffiti in the beach area. I think it’s beautiful that the city dedicated a park to her. And it’s a fun, innovative interactive park that is often busy with delighted children. I especially love the pink color of the slide.

a year ago**Maruta Harder Playground** is a great place for kids of all ages to play. It has a variety of features, including a new net slide, a net jungle gym, swings, and a sandpit. The net slide is a lot of fun for kids between 5-12 years old. It's a long, winding slide that's made of net. Kids can climb up the side of the slide or use the ladder to get to the top. Once they're at the top, they can slide down headfirst or feetfirst. The net jungle gym is one of the biggest we've seen. It's made of net and has a variety of climbing structures, including a ladder, a slide, and a swing. Kids can climb up and down the structures, or they can just hang out and relax. The park benches are like beach chairs and have a cute design. They're a great place for parents to sit and relax while their kids play. There is plenty of parking at the playground, and there are plenty of food options nearby. Here are some of the pros and cons of Maruta Harder Playground: **Pros:** * Variety of features for kids of all ages * New net slide * Net jungle gym * Beach chair style park benches * Plenty of parking * Plenty of food options nearby **Cons:** * Net jungle gym could be scary for little ones * Not much shade Overall, Maruta Harder Playground is a great place for kids to play. It has a variety of features that will keep kids entertained for hours on end. I would definitely recommend this playground to families with kids of all ages. Here are some additional tips for visiting Maruta Harder Playground: * Bring sunscreen and hats, as there is not much shade at the playground. * Bring water bottles, as there is no water fountain at the playground. * Bring snacks, as there are no food vendors at the playground. * Be aware that the net jungle gym could be scary for little ones. * Have fun!

2 years agoWe love this park! So many fun things to do and for the entire family. It’s also right next to the water, which was perfect for a little play time by the water. Highly recommend checking out this park!
