"This is a peaceful and often overlooked park. I think most people pass by without realizing it is a park? And the park has a lot to offer if you want to relax, suntan, have a picnic, go fishing, cool off by the river or watch birds. Its also right next to the oak leaf trail too! This park is right along Silver Spring Drive so its close to Bayshore and the shopping area yet its far enough away to be very peaceful...especially if you head a little bit south into the park. There I often hear birds calling. A few of the birds sound like falcons or hawks? And that makes perfect sense too since a g"
