2 weeks agoWe used to love coming here. We had really great experiences with the coaches. Unfortunately, recently we had a not great experience with the owner. He called my daughter “too big” to do something- loud enough for parents and students to hear. This left us all with a horrible feeling. She never finished out her session and won’t go back. Very disappointing !

10 months agoI’m writing this review, as a mother, as an early childhood administrator, a teacher, and an advocate for individuals with disabilities. Our 3 children (ages 4,8,10) have been attending gymnastics classes at Northern Hemisphere Gymnastics for a long time. This place became our second home. We have participated in the summer camp program, gymnastics classes, flips and tricks, parent child classes, and pre-k classes. We couldn’t be happier with their services. The great thing about the place is that you are able to watch all the classes from the waiting room. The instructors are wonderful and they welcome all students with all abilities. They are very encouraging, enthusiastic and supportive. All of our children love going there and they have improved their skills significantly. They have fun and learn at the same time. They adore their coaches. The owner is also very responsive and passionate about gymnastics. I absolutely love seeing their involvement. The owner also offers variety of classes. He is very invested in his job. You can see it every time you walk into the facility. We would never leave Northern Hemisphere Gymnastics. I would highly recommend them. They are the best gymnastics school in the area. Thank you for all you do for our children! The Venables

2 months agoMy two children have taken the parent/child, preschool, and mini ninja warrior classes at Northern Hemisphere and they have all been great experiences. Wonderful coaches and fun classes. They look forward to going every week!

3 months agoThis establishment is unfit for children. My developmentally delayed daughter was kicked out of the program for simply running away from her scary instructor. The instructor would often yell at her and showed no patience or tolerance. She is overweight and unfit (in multiple ways) to train anyone, much less 5-7 yr olds! The owner's response is completely false. I was present at all the sessions and personally told the Coach that my daughter was delayed. I also phoned the owner several times to discuss the issue and he cowardly did not return my calls. He does not want to hold his staff accountable by CHOICE!!!!

10 months agoMy eight year old has done school break camp here and my two year old and I have done Parent/Tot class this spring. Both have been great experiences. I have been impressed by the staff's efforts to keep the weekly activities fresh, interesting and easy to learn for even the youngest students. All three instructors have a good grasp of the range of capabilities for this age and encourage them in safe environment while still challenging them. Both my daughter and I really appreciated the class format-- warmup, weekly skill practice, fun new group activity and then independent gym exploration so the kids could do what activities were of interest to them on their own timeline/ comfort level. As someone who is not particularly skilled or even familiar with gymnastics, I felt comfortable here after the first class. I recommend Northern Hemisphere to anyone.
