I have always loved REI. It is an excellent company with what seems like a very happy crew and happy employees tend to indicate that they’re treated well by their employer. I went shoe shopping there recently specifically because I know they have knowledgeable employees in the shoe section that do their best to help you find the right shoe. Edward did not disappoint. He asked questions and made suggestions and helped me find the right shoe after trying on several. Amazing customer service.

This store has almost everything! Big and comfortable store, if the best I've been in, in Salt Lake. Friendly staff, with good knowledge of their products. Will definitely come again.

It was my first time at REI yesterday and Casey was a wonderful associate that help me pick my first hiking boots! He was kind, patient, well informed about the selection that I was inquiring about. He was very considerate of my budget since it was my first big investment in hiking supplies. Thanks again Casey!

They have wide selections to choose from. Clean and well organized store. And most of all, friendly and knowledgeable staff that will provide you technical specifications for gears you need and to keep you safe on your choice of sports or fitness.
