"Sambica is like a second home to me! The ways I encountered Christ and formed friendships with those around me changed my life. I decided to get baptized for the first time at Sambica, and the support and love from everyone around me made it one of the happiest moments of my life. The staff are kind, fun, and knowledgeable. The camp activities (ropes course, boats, water toys, etc.) are some of the most fun of any camp I’ve been to. The attention to caring for and loving each kid for who they are is amazing. "SAMBICA is a very special place! Two of my kids have been campers there for the past two summers (elementary and jr. high age). They both had so much fun as well as meaningful moments in their faith. My oldest child has been a summer staffer there as well, and I can affirm that the staff culture is healthy, dynamic, and mature (while being a lot of fun!). The counselors are excellent at meeting kids where they are, developing relationships, and having fun in the context of loving Jesus and seeking his call on our lives. I’m grateful for this wonderful place and see it figuring into our summer "

"Part 2: The use of Jesus' name by an organization entails a heightened level of accountability (2 Timothy and Proverbs). Actions speak louder than words. Jesus embodies integrity, forgiveness, reconciliation, and love (Book of John and Matthew), while in my opinion certain employees at this camp resembles the Pharisees. Despite the ordeal, I find solace in the knowledge that I am loved by God and that He will fight for me (Psalm 13, Psalm 9, Psalm 30, Book of Job, the story of Joseph, Exodus 14:14 and more!!). Praise Jesus I am chosen and saved and nothing can separate my relationship with Him"
