5 years agoQuaint theater...very cozy...literally looks like a living room! They do amazing work here year round. Right now Milking Christmas is must see!!! Create some Christmas magical tradition of your own and take your group of friends, group of co-workers, or just go by yourself....either way, you'll be laughing non stop. This cast is truly remarkable. General admission tickets only $35! Definitely check this place out!!!

6 years agoGreat intimate community theatre. The space is very small and the front rows are very close to the stage, which is a lot of fun. Restrooms are limited and there will be a long line if there is an intermission. Overall a minimalist space that serves its purpose in an economical and effective manner.

8 years agoThe living room is a truly imaginative space. For all its little quarks and shortcomings as a "traditional space", the shows there are unsurpassed anywhere else in the city. If you are truly passionate about theater, you will not miss an opportunity to see a performance there (or three/five/ten... You get the picture).

10 years agoThe Living Room is by far my favorite theater destination in Kansas City. The productions are evocative, imaginative, and executed beautifully. With a gritty yet welcoming atmosphere, The Living Room is a true gem, and a must visit for the adventurous theatergoer in Kansas City.
